Sidewheel Steamer, 191 feet long. Burned and sank in 1868. One hundred lives lost. A large boiler and the twisted remains of the walking beam engine make up a large part of the wreck. The paddle wheel shafts, hubs and about half of one gigantic paddle wheel remain intact.
